Enrichment classes are offered after school throughout the school year. Extra fees apply. Current activities include:
Sports and Fitness Class
This class promotes health and fitness, team work, social skills and problem solving. Students are encouraged to work together, interact appropriately and follow instruction while
practicing their gross motor skills.
Arts and Drama
Through the use of varied media, this class promotes artistic flair and use of imagination. Students are given the opportunity to write plays that are an interpretation of the art they each
create. These plays are often acted out for friends, students, and family.
Keyboarding and Coding
This class is an exciting way for both elementary and middle school students to develop computing knowledge, become proficient on the keyboard and learn correct finger placement.
Homework Skills
Homework Skills is a daily after-school option which extends the day to 4:30 PM. Students will have the opportunity to work on their homework with supervision and will engage in a
wide-range of teacher directed activities designed to build life skills in a fun and positive setting. Homework Skills is more than just after-school care. Students will
explore topics such as Study Methods (Note Taking, Highlighting), Health and Wellness (Nutrition and Exercise), Communication (Conflict Resolution, Listening), Character Building
(Compassion/Helping others). Homework Skills is offered Monday-Thursday from 3:00 pm-4:30 for Elementary and from 3:30 PM-4:30 PM for Middle and High
School. Friday’s schedule is 1:30 PM-3:00 PM for Elementary and 2:00 PM-3:00 PM for Middle and High School.
